Nonfarm Payrolls for December reported in at 200,000, analyst expected 150,000.

Nonfarm Private Payrolls for December reported in at 212,000, analyst expected 170,000.

The unemployment rate for December decreased to 8.5%.

December's hourly earnings increased 0.2% to $23.24..

The average workweek for December reported in at 34.4 hours.
