The big story today in the media is about Dubai defaulting on thier loans or needing more time to pay. The market simply only cares about the dollar right now. Surely, if there is one Dubai with problems there is likely to be others with the same problems. However, it is still all about the dollar carry trade staying alive. Look at the chart below.
